It’s not quite When Harry Met Sally, but David Koechner (best known for roles in Anchorman and the US version of The Office) and Jason Bateman do get familiar in a restaurant during the first of a series of online talk shows shot in Denny’s diners.
The series is named Always Open, after the restaurant chain’s tagline ‘America's Diner Is Always Open’ (all sites operate 24 hours a day) and future interviewees to be grilled by Koechner include Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, Will Forte, Amy Poehler and Sarah Silverman.
Created by Bateman and Arnett’s DumbDumb production co in collaboration with Electus, Gotham and Ensemble, the episodes will debut on the College Humor website and Denny’s own Facebook page.
