Original Film bags two new directors

LA-based production co Original Film has added directors Mikael Salomon and Frank Samuel to its talent pool. Salomon began his career as a cinematographer and worked on features including The Abyss, Backdraft and Far and Away in that role. He first took the helm in 1992 and has since directed several features including Hard Rain, as well as episodes Band Of Brothers, Rome and Salem’s Lot, plus spots for McDonald’s and Jaguar. Salomon has already completed his first project for Original – a multi-spot package for the Army National Guard via agency LM&O Virginia. Samuel has also worked on features, as assistant art director on The Mask, The Underneath and One Night Stand, and has directed commercials for Verizon Wireless, M&M's, IFC Cable, Fox Sports, Oakland A's, Kellogg's and Visa to name a few.
