Audi A6 Avant: Hummingbird

This animated film, through BBH London with direction from Daniel Barber, demonstrates the light, quick and nimble nature of the Audi A6 Avant model and follows an agile hummingbird character round a series of familiar traffic obstacles. “The new A6 Avant is a unique aluminium and steel, lightweight construction," says Kevin Stark, creative director at the agency. "We wanted to show that the car was light, fuel efficient but manoeuvrable and fun to drive. The bird needed to look as if it had been designed by Audi engineers, so we added details like it's eyes echoing the distinctive LED's of an Audi."
