Sean Thonson gets a Holiday

Sean Thonson has joined the roster at Holiday Films, a production company based in Ontario. In the last ten years, he has directed spots for numerous prestigious automakers including BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus, in addition to other manufacturers like Gillette and Dove. A love for visual storytelling began early with Thonson, who had a camera in his hands from a young age, practicing light and composition in his father’s dark room. Most recently, he directed a massive 16-spot campaign for Travel Alberta, titled, Remember to Breathe. Thonson, who is a nature enthusiast, divided the spots among the winter and summer months, focusing on scenic landscapes near the gateway to the Canadian Rockies.
