VW: Jaws

The latest instalment in the Volkswagen See Film Differently campaign was directed by Stink’s Ivan Zacharias through DDB UK. Currently running in 196 independent cinemas across the UK, it is the latest stage in the brand’s seven-year support of independent cinema.

One of three films, the 60-second spot creates a humorous back-story to a memorable film moment. As well as the “we’re gonna need a bigger boat” line from Jaws, the campaign also includes Silence of the Lambs and Robert De Niro's famous “are you talking to me?” scene from Taxi Driver. Matt Lee, creative director adds: “from start to finish these films were a labour of love. They’re a fine addition to the campaign.”
