Animation director Rafael Mayrhofer plays with stop motion in this short, made to promote Flying Lotus' music. Originally created to form part of a mini-series of films for the artist's latest album, Until the Quiet Comes, it was eventually released as an independent short by the director at motiphe Animation, who says the film shows "the scrap metal of New York in a state of metalmorphosis".
