Marc Rienzo joins Independent and Indy8

Indy8 and Independent have announced that director Marc Rienzo has joined the roster. Rienzo recently worked as a director and visual effects supervisor at Digital Domain Media Group on a variety of projects, directing several spots for the New York Mets.  Prior to that he was Outsource Sequence Supervisor on Tron: Legacy, as well as the production side compositing supervisor on Roland Emmerich’s 2012. As a compositor he has worked on The Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, The Hobbit, Spiderman, Hulk and IRobot.
