IBM’s new functional adverts have curved in a new direction. Literally.
IBM’s new campaign “People for Smarter Cities” aims to unite city leaders and citizens in finding simple solutions and improving city life. To get the word out, Ogilvy & Mather France created outdoor advertising—a bench, a shelter and a ramp—designed to be aesthetically pleasing advertising that citizens can do more than just look at.
Smart cities drive economic growth and prosperity when their leaders are able to collect and analyze city data, anticipate problems and coordinate resources. This can be accomplished with the IBM Intelligent Operations Center, the tool of choice for smart cities.
Initially launched in London and Paris, “People for Smarter Cities” is going global to help inspire citizens to think about simple ways to make their cities smarter.
