With the essence of a Broadway musical, this new ad, directed by Adam Hashemi for Samsung, sees Lionel Messi come to town as The Developer. In the film, created by Leo Burnett LA and Chicago, the Barcelona star annnounces his arrival in a deserted town by confirming he's there to oversee a new community football project. Local children begin to emerge from the battered surroundings in Oliver Twist-like fashion as they sing Lorde's hit Royals before being introduced to their new playing patch.
