Carstensen finds Pulse

Pulse films has announced the hire of Kira Carstensen as executive producer and president of commercials for its recently launched US division. An Academy Award and two-time Emmy nominee, Carstensen has a diverse background in documentary and narrative film, TV and commercials. She comes from Supply & Demand, where she spent seven years and helming the commercials division. In her new role, Carstensen will be responsible for driving growth of the company’s domestic presence and commercials and branded content business, working out of Pulse’s American base in Los Angeles with CEO Thomas Benski.
