This animated PSA for the Against Malaria Foundation was created by a team of eight students taking part in this year's Establishment for Greater Good (EGG) programme - Pysop's annual internship scheme run by the company for aspiring youngsters.

Spending 12 weeks on the 90-second animation, the result is a beautiful film with a serious tone and attracted Academy Award-winner Susan Sarandon to get on board to voice the piece.

“Her read perfectly captures the innocence and pathos of the spot” says Ave Carrillo, EGG’s co-founder and producer of the piece, which starts as a sweet tale about a little girl drifting to sleep at night and gradually gets darker.

“The students are fully responsible for this project,” says EGG founder, Pakorn Bupphavesa. “They get on the phone with the client, they have to hit deadlines — and if it fails, it’s on them.”

The film was released alongside a game, Malaria, Psyop Games' first-ever release available for iOS on the iTunes App Store and Android at Google play. The campaign and game is also hosted on this interactive website.
