Based in the city where the footballer grew up and became an international star, the film, directed by Rafael Lopez, sees members of the public spitting out their tea as they catch wind of the move in a fun tongue-in-cheek poke at British culture. Defoe's move is set to take place at the end of February when he'll leave Tottenham Hotspur for Canadian club Toronto FC, who the campaign was created for.
