Los Angeles-based production company Saville Productions has announced the exclusive signing of director Tom Schlagkamp for US commercial representation. Schlagkamp got his break through his short film Rock 'n' Roll Manifesto which was awarded first place at the Cannes Young Director Award 2013. He began his career in Berlin as a sound and light technician, before transitioning from music into film through RTL Germany. Following this switch the director started shooting commercials, shorts and music videos, including campaigns and movie trailers for films such as The Bourne Conspiracy, Borat and X-Men. Following this Schlagkamp went to study directing at the prestigious Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
