BRW Los Angeles has announced the signing of director Marcus Ubungen for his first-ever US commercial representation deal. Ubungen has previously helmed spots for brands including Nike, Porsche, YouTube, Volcom, Reebok, Chevrolet and Google, collaborating with agencies including Goodby Silverstein & Partners, AKQA, Evolution Bureau, Venables Bell & Partners and Cramer-Kresselt. The director studied cinematography at San Francisco’s American Art University and embarked on a career as a camera assistant and film loader before moving on to direction.
