Fulfilling your dreams is no easy feat... particularly when those dreams include surfing seven-foot waves in Tahiti on a motorbike.
Thankfully Robbie Maddison - known as Maddo - is an extreme motorbike stunt rider. But still the pipe dream took him three years to fulfil and figure out how to attach skis to the base of his bike to make it possible.
Collaborating with DC, the Pipe Dream campaign marks the launch of the Maddo shoe, which comes in three different colour variations.
The four-minute spot features some fantastic footage of Maddo getting onto the water, driving past canoeists (who look rather shocked to see a motorbike on water) and chasing waves.
Teahupo'o waves are known as some of the world's deadliest due to the huge amount of water involved in each wave and the sharp coral that lies beneath the water's surface.
"When the wave broke right behind me, I honestly thought that might be the end of my life," says Maddo in a news interview.
"I've never felt like I was in the wrong place at the wrong time more than I did right there. It was a near-death experience."
Still, somehow he managed to come out alive... Hope he manages to recover and reflect before his next venture.
