Joe Vanhoutteghem's latest spot for Belgian cable broadband provider, Telenet Play, follows the story of a group of Manchester City Football Club supporters and their feat of creating a catchy chant that has spread to the stands.
Created through TBWA Brussels, the docu-style film beautifully bridges the gap between the club's die-hard supporters and their Belgium international idol and captain, Vincent Kompany, by telling the story of how they came up with the song, based on Simon & Garfunkel's classic, Mrs. Robinson.
Kompany scored last night during City's opening game of the new Premier League season and celebrated with a passionate war cry to the fans reciprocating the spirit of the spot.
