Now that summer seems well and truly over - although news of an Indian summer heatwave in October does sound tempting - it's perhaps not surprising that brands have started to incorporate cold weather into their new ads.
British Gas has teamed up with CHI&Partners to begin the festive spots, with a cute wintery mascot called Wilbur the penguin.
Seemingly breaking into a family's home while they sleep, Wilbur inspects the household's heating supplies as the brand's ambassador.
The animated spot helmed by Lauren Indovina follows Wilbur, who leaves the house impressed by the family's warm and welcoming conditions.
