UK-born Alex Lubar (centre) has been promoted to CEO of McCann London, but will make the transition into the new position at the start of 2016.

Lubar is currently McCann Worldgroup’s global chief marketing officer in New York. His new appointment will replace Zaid Al-Zaidy, who is leaving the agency. Selected for his multidisciplinary approach, the agency is confident that Lubar will excel leading activity in the London office. He has been part of McCann since 2012, when he joined as CMO in North America and he has successfully secured new high-profile clients over the years. Last year, he was promoted to CMO of McCann Worldgroup where he has transformed the agency’s global offering. He will work with Rob Doubal and Lolly Thomson (right).
