adam&eveDDB delivers The Miracle of Mulberry in this funny festive ad playing on the famous nativity scene and the birth of baby Jesus.
Created to remind customers that a Mulberry bag is a gift like no other, the two minute online piece from Outsider's James Rouse is a playful take on the famous story and features a British ensemble who come from far and wide to witness the magical wonder of the updated presentation.
“I don’t think you can underestimate that joyous moment when you receive the gift of a Mulberry handbag. So with that in mind this idea is simple, funny and couldn’t be more Christmassy if it tried,” says Richard Brim, executive creative director, adam&eveDDB.
”Everyone at Mulberry loves Christmas and every year we like to put out an amusing tongue-in-cheek little story about how difficult it is to get Christmas right. Our research shows that men are particularly nervous about the consequences of getting it wrong. We like to make people smile in the run up to their hopefully… perfect Christmas,” adds Anne Marie Verdin, Mulberry's brand director.
