Next out of the Christmas blocks is Sainsbury's follow-up to 2014's epic, somewhat controversial, First World War commercial. This year's film continues the Christmas is for Sharing stapline, but in 2015 we're treated to a fantastic, heart-warming story about Mog, the childrens' book character created by Judith Kerr.
Created by AMV BBDO London, who have already given us the brilliant Jeff Goldblum-fronted Christmas campaign for Currys/PC World, and directed by Outsider's James Rouse, with VFX by Framestore London, the three-and-a-half minute spot is a beautifully crafted tale of the calamity-prone feline who creates havoc in the Thomas household in the early hours of Christmas morning.
Below you can also see the making of Mog's Christmas Calamity.
