Dublin-based advertising agency Rothco has created this powerful campaign for the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA) harnessing the words of JFK for a modern audience.
The work was created to highlight to the people of Ireland that they have the power to power themselves. Currently the nation stands as one of the most energy dependent countries in Europe, producing only 15 per cent of its energy domestically with the rest imported.
Directed by Alex Telfer, the spot uses the words of former US president John F. Kennedy, spoken to the people of Ireland during his visit in 1963, to motivate the nation to make use of wind power.
