Amazon Eve Weighs Into The Equal Pay Debate
Trans model campaigns for equal pay for Equal Pay Day Europe in mortierbrigade campaign.
The gender pay gap war has been raging for many years now, so what better way to commemorate it and push for gender equality than on International Women’s Day, aka today?
mortierbrigade addresses this issue in a short film for Equal Pay Day Europe, a movement that is attempting to convince European authorities to reduce the wage gap.
Entitled Pay Me Like a Man, transgender model/actress Erika Irvin – better known by her stage name, Amazon Eve – explores this theme as she claims to have personally experienced the difference in pay since leaving behind her former life as a man.
To follow the campaign, use the #PayMeLikeAMan hashtag and encourage women around the world to be paid the same as their male counterparts.
