Havas London hires Xav Rees as CEO, where he will report to European/UK group CEO Chris Hirst.
Rees was previously group managing director at adam&eveDDB - overseeing the merging of DDB and adam&eve and running the agency's biggest client, Diageo business and Volkswagen. Prior to this position, Rees was at BBH, Grey and Wundrman, although he has also worked client side, as a product manager for Boots. Rees admits he is keen to contribute to Havas’ ambitious plans for transformation.
Other hires at Havas include Ben Mooge and Andy Sandoz as ECDs, Mark Sinnock as European group CSO, Paul Ward as UK Group COO and Nicola Forristal as group chief people officer.
