Sydney-based production company Filmgraphics has signed Irish comedy directors Lorcan Finnegan (R) and John O’Hagan to its roster.
Beginning his career studying graphic design in Dublin, Finnegan then worked as a motion designer/editor – then director – at comedy production company Zeppotron before setting up Lovely Productions. Finnegan’s work spans various mediums; he has written and directed short films, TVCs and music videos. His current short Foxes is currently touring the film festival circuit and he is also finishing up his first feature film Without Name.
O’Hagan entered adland State side, after studying at US universities. He has scooped up numerous accolades for his work on short films and documentaries, leading to US representation through Hungry Man New York. O’Hagan’s debut ad for Dial-A-Mattress Arctic Ground Squirrel, earned him a gold Cannes Lion and a gold CLIO.
