In a new video for US artist Jaimeo Brown Transcendence, a stickman dances hauntingly on train tracks in front of a dark and snowy backdrop as his body skews in and out of shape.
The track, Be So Glad, samples sounds of inmates from the Parchman Farm Prison in Mississippi in 1959 and the Fons Schiedon-directed piece is an eerie homage to the time. Created with technical methods and intended to have DIY feel, PostPanic Amsterdam co-produced the video to support the artist's breakthrough sophomore album, Work Songs, which resurrects stories of workers and prisoners from around the world.
