People often forget that refugees are actually human beings and not just statistics that feature in the news. To help change this, DDB & Tribal Warsaw created a moving campaign for Amnesty International.

Adopting an experiment conceived by US psychology professor Arthur Aron, the spot attempts to unite refugees with European citizens. By applying the same principles of the experiment, the spot sees strangers spend four minutes looking at each other in a bid to bring them closer together.

The result? A film, helmed by Bartosz Dombrowski through Papaya Films, that brings about the reality faced by refugees and makes us realise just how similar we are to each other, even if we do live in a world rife with division and conflict.
