New York-based ad agency gyro has appointed Kimberly Bates to chief strategy and innovation officer. Bates joins MD Wendy Lurrie and ECD Vito Zarrillo in leading the charge at the office. In addition to leading strategy in New York, she will help ignite gyro’s innovation agenda globally. During her career, she has spent time at PHD Worldwide, Publicis Kaplan Thaler, Arnell Group and Nielsen working with clients such as Pepsi, McDonald's, Google, Mercedes, Sony, Procter & Gamble, GSK, Chrysler, Lego and Footlocker.
