Bicoastal spot and branded content production company The Famous Group has signed director Rod Blackhurst. Blackhurst is known in advertising for helming an ambitious branding campaign for Airbnb. However he has also gained prominence in TV and film. His first feature film, HERE ALONE, won an audience award at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and his Netflix Original documentary titled, Amanda Knox, will be out at the end of this month (Sept 30), following its premiere earlier this year at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
