Honda Partners with All 4 for Stunts Series
The Evolution of Stunts will be made up of epic stunts of the century, performed by stuntman Damien Walters.
It’s becoming increasingly common for brands to partner with agencies and create branded series.
Just think of W+K Portland’s eight episode series Margot vs. Lily for Nike and Droga5’s six-part series Glued for Comcast Xfinity, both released earlier this year.
The latest brand to jump aboard this trend is Honda, who has collaborated with All 4 to unveil a three-part series entitled The Evolution of Stunts, following its sponsorship of Film on the channel announced earlier this year.
The series is centred on stuntman Damien Walters who will recreate iconic movie stunts from the last century that will make up one mega stunt.
Each episode will focus on Walters as he prepares pre-stunt; a history of the stunts that will be featured; and a film of Damien performing the stunts respectively.
“The Evolution of Stunts showcases a clear link between Honda’s challenging spirit and stuntman Damian Walters’ need to constantly push to the next challenge,” says Honda UK’s managing director Philip Crossman. “Honda has a reputation for creating iconic brand advertising and this new series with All 4 takes it to the next level.”
Of the stunts that will be featured, Terminator 2's epic bike chase, The Matrix's timeslice high kick (below) and 300's Sword Fight will be included.
Look due out for the first episode released on All 4 from November 26th – expect high adrenaline, outrageous energy and supreme courage.
