McConnaughy joins Hey Baby

Los Angeles-based production studio Hey Baby has welcomed director Rob “Whitey” McConnaughy to its roster.

McConnaughy was previously repped by humble, where he developed his multidisciplinary style through shooting and editing. He started out as a photographer/director on the snow and skateboarding scene, before lending his skills to various skate and snow publications. McConnaughy then wrote and shot MTV’s Jackass programme and the first two movies, before moving into advertising following an offer from Nike. Since then, he’s created award-winning work spanning sport, action and comedy, working for a range of clients including Honda, Burger King and Coca Cola among others. McConnaughy has also done a series of musical promos for The Gossip, Band of Horses and Red Fang.
