Leo Burnett explore kid's joy at going to McDonald's with happy dancing and a classic Hall & Oates track.
A montage of kids being unable to contain their excitement at going to Maccy D's and breaking out into spontaneous dancing, Happy Dance was directed by Neil Gorringe, and is not to be confused with Happy Dance, a McD commercial from 2009 featuring dancing Happy Meal boxes that seems to have pre-empted the Minions, for which, in this writer's opinion, it should be banned for all eternity.
In the 2017 Happy Dance, meanwhile, we get the nostalgic thrill of remembering when we were kids and a trip to the Golden Arches was a genuine treat, plus a killer Hall & Oates track in You Make My Dreams, probably best known nowadays as the track from the dance sequence in cult film 500 Days of Summer.
