Director Alma Har'el, who alongside creating two feature films and work for Air BnB and Chanel's The Fifth Sense recently found Free the Bid, caps off a busy 12 months with a move to Parisian production company Carnibird.

The Israeli-born director, whose first film Bombay Beach won top prize at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2011 (and whose second film LoveTrue our news reporter reviewed for HeyUGuys), has made history for being the first female filmmaker used by many brands, including Stella Artois. She also was responsible for Free the Bid, the scheme that aims to get more women into the pitching process.
