Tuborg Squash: The English Lesson

A man enters an old-fashioned grocers wearing headphones and explains that he is learning English by listen and repeat audiotape. “Hello. I would like one squash,” he announces, and the obliging owner places one on the counter. As the tape reiterates this, he does the same and a second bottle is provided. Unfortunately the tape includes many repeats, the entire shelf soon cleared of bottles. The grocer grows impatient. You Finish?” he demands. “No, I’m Danish”
