In the baking heat of the sun, a girl scrambles up a dusty hill to the ultimate prize: a refreshing bottle of Perrier. But she's got competition in the form of an equally thirsty lion... Hang on, haven't we seen this somewhere before?

Well, in a word, yes. To promote the 'fines bulles' (small bubbles) version of the sparkling water, Ogilvy & Mather Paris are following in the paw-prints of Jean Paul Goude's 1990 Grand Prix-winning film, Lioness, with a cute reboot that makes everything a wee bit smaller

In the new offering, directed by Johnny Green through Gang Films, the magnificently-maned lion has been replaced by a cub; the grown woman is a little girl; and even the music is a bit tinnier. As homages go, it's nicely done: judge for yourself by comparing the original, below.

Stay tuned for our Q&A with the Ogilvy Paris creative team and director.
