Wave heads to New York

Sound design and audio post-production company, Wave Studios, has set up shop in Manhattan, New York City, with two sound design and mixing suites.

Having worked with American clients for many years, it was time for the European company to jump ship and build on their reputation across the pond. Aaron Reynolds (above, right) will head up the sound design and engineering department, assuming the role of partner and ECD. Having originally founded the team in 1999, he is now acknowledged as one of the most respected sound designers and sound engineers in the world, winning awards at the BTA Craft awards, D&AD, Creative Circle, MASA, NYF and Cannes Lions. Reynolds will be joined by senior audio engineer/sound designer, Chris Afzal and EP, Vicky Ferraro. Despite sound design and sound mixing treated separately in New York, Wave will offer clients the opportunity to work on both services in the same studio.
