Whitehouse Post New York has promoted assistant editor Matt Hartman to editor.
Hartman began his career at MackCut as a runner then later rose to senior assistant editor. He joined Whitehouse Post as an assistant editor in 2015 where he has worked with top brands like Google, Getty, Samsung, Adidas, LG, and Marriott as well as renowned directors like Eliot Rausch, Daniel Kaufman, Henry Alex Rubin and Nathan R. Smith.
Most recently, Hartman has edited a feature film, a feature docu-series, and Desiigner’s music video Hood, which has garnered almost 2 million YouTube views to date.
“I would love to strike a balance between commercials and films,” says Hartman. “I enjoy both very much, and I think that honing my short and long-form skills will ultimately make me more successful across both formats.”
“Matt has an exceptionally diverse range of both interests and abilities which put him in a great position in today’s ever-changing market," adds Whitehouse Post's partner and editor, Alaster Jordan. "He is a very talented editor with a great personality and work ethic."
