Huu Do joins Hamlet
Brussels-based prodco signs director for commercial and music video representation.
Production company HAMLET has signed film director Karim Huu Do for commercial and music video representation in Belgium, Holland, China and Japan.
Huu Do has directed commercials for global clients including Converse, H&M, and Gillette, as well as the adidas Superstar campaign featuring Pharrell Williams, Rita Ora, David Beckham and Damian Lillard. His promo reel includes a short film for the London-based art collective Last Night in Paris and a music video for The Shoes which won him a D&AD pencil award for cinematography.
"I already worked with Karim at the early stage of his commercial film career six years ago," says Jason Felstead, executive producer. "Karim's aesthetics and sense of direction always attracted me. Karim's culture for the arts and crafts allows him to build his visuals with great knowledge. Having this culture, he managed to create surrealist and beautiful work. Each shot is so well crafted that every single one of them seems like a painting. Karim has an amazing sensibility for the work he delivers, and we couldn’t be happier to have him join our roster of International talents. He adds to the level of standards we want to be surrounded with at Hamlet. We all look forward to building new work together, be it advertising or other film projects.”
