Two summers ago, we reported that international creative services company, The Moon Unit (TMU), had added storyboard artist agency to its list of capabilities, and now, along with TVC treatment writing, designing and editing, it will also offer visual research direct to agencies for the first time.
The updated offering follows TMU's seven years of expertise in visual research for global TVC/film directors and production companies. TMU founder Alf (short for Alpha) explains the move is a response to a wave of enquiries for visual assets with a rapid turnaround. “We started getting lots of messages asking for large visual research jobs – we found out that agencies have a real pain point when it comes to visual research with short deadlines,” he says. "This is almost exclusively for internal usage, like pitching or idea generation as opposed to image libraries."
