JJ Augustavo joins Knucklehead

Knucklehead has signed short film, music video and commercial director Jon Jon “JJ” Augustavo to its roster for US and UK representation. 

The Seattle-born, Filipino-American filmmaker, who is based in Los Angeles, started his career in the music video world directing visuals for Macklemore, Kygo and Shawn Mendes among others, winning three MTV VMAs, earning a Grammy nod and collecting nearly 3 billion views online across his body of work. As well as directing music videos, Augustavo's commercials reel includes spots for the likes of adidas, Puma, Playstation and Foot Locker. He is slated to direct his first narrative feature in the upcoming year.

“We are crazy excited to have JJ join our roster,” says Cathleen Kisich, executive producer, Knucklehead LA. “We, of course, loved his work on first viewing but once we got to know him we realized he was, for sure, a Knucklehead at heart. We look forward to doing awesome things together.”
