Moves afoot at The Mill Chicago
Erica Hilbert promoted to head of production while Blake Nickle joins as EP.
The Mill has appointed a new head of production and an executive producer to further bolster the growing production team at their Chicago studio.
Erica Hilbert, who has been with The Mill's production team since 2015, has been promoted to head of production and will step in to this new role while continuing to lead, mentor and grow the talent at The Mill Chicago.
In addition to Hilbert’s promotion, EP Blake Nickle joins from Digital Kitchen Chicago. Nickle started his career working on feature films at ESC and ILM and later found himself drawn to the VFX production world, working on such features as Life of Pi, Moneyball and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. At Digital Kitchen, he worked with brands including Buick, Bose, Amazon and McDonald’s.
