Experimental female artists, and their 25-year fight for recognition in Latin America, forms the basis of this dramatic and thrilling new film promoting a new exhibition at Sao Paolo's Pinacoteca gallery.
Focusing on the period from 1960-1985, Radical Women showcases women who used their art to break established paradigms of society and the art world. The campaign, created by F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, and directed by Vellas via Saigon Films, is set in a nightmarish world of informers and oppressive male ciphers, and recreates some of the major works in the exhibition to hammer home the trailblazing impact of these artists.
