Nike: LeBron James - I Believe

Nike and Wieden+Kennedy Portland continue the thirtieth birthday celebrations of 'Just Do It' with a motivational spot tracing the career of NBA star LeBron James.

As per the previous ad, Voice of Belief, featuring a young Serena Williams being coached by her dad, this new spot delves deep into the sporting archives. This time round, we see a clip from 2003, just after the NBA Draft Lottery, when James was chosen by Cleveland. “There is no pressure at all," he says coolly to camera. "I’ve been getting pressure since I was 10 years old. I’m not going to guarantee no championship, I'll tell you that”. 

While he didn't win a championship with Cleveland during his first stint there, he did manage it two years ago and and this year starts his fifteenth season in the NBA, neatly proving the tagline: "It's only crazy until you do it. Just do it."
