10. Rema 1000 Smart House
A Norwegian spot through Try/Apt Olso which highlights the potential dangers of a smart house.
9. Leningrad feat. Gluk'oZa Ju-Ju
The only music video on this list is a brilliant and violent animated offering from Great Guns' Ilya Naishuller for Leningrad.
8. Halifax The Wizard of Halifax
The first entry in our top 10 for adam&eveDDB and also the first entry for Halifax. I know, right...
7. #Adpology
This comic short film from Thomas Thomas' Tiny Bullet (AKA Tina Bull) offers a tongue-in-cheek apology to women for the way they've been depicted in ads over the years.
6. Nike Women Mexico Together Unstoppable

5. Three Phones Are Good
Created by Wieden+Kennedy London and directed by Ian Pons Jewell this campaign tackles the topical debate that ‘phones are bad’ by reimagining pivotal moments in history, demonstrating how much better things would have been if phones had been available.
4. John Lewis The Boy and the Piano
It was bound to be on here, right? Whatever your thoughts on this year's JL offering, there's no doubting it's the most anticipated ad of the year and, in 2018, adam&eveDDB, Academy's Seb Edwards and Elton John crafted a spot that brought many people to tears.
3. Halifax Ghostbusters
Strike three for adam&eve and it's a double-whammy for Halifax in this year's top 10 most viewed ads as the iconic Ghostbusters continue this successful series for the building society.
2. Greenpeace There's a Rang-tan in My Bedroom
This brilliant spot was initially relased in August of this year as Mother London and Passion Animation Studios combined to bring us this beautiful but fightening story. It was reappropriated later in the year by Iceland, who rebranded it and used it as their Christmas campaign for 2018, which was subsequently banned from television for its political messaging.
1. Libresse/Bodyform Viva La Vulva
Amazingly, this spot was only released at the end of November, but such was its quality and creativity, it racked up the views and raced to the top of our annual list of the most viewed spots of the year. Congratulations AMV BBDO and Somesuch's Kim Gehrig.
