Marla Aaron Jewelry: Love is Everything

Marking the installation of a vending machine dispensing luxury Marla Aaron jewellery, this short film celebrates Valentine's Day and will actually play on what has been dubbed 'the world's most glamorous vending machine', as well as on Aaron's website.

Co-created by New York agency Something Different and directed by its chief creative, Tommy Henvey, Love Is Everything was born from an idea suggested by Aaron herself and features kids reciting, and sweetly stumbling over, the words of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 130, My Mistress’s Eyes Are Nothing Like the Sun.  “Shakespeare’s poem makes the point that love has nothing to do with beauty; its essence is much more ephemeral,” says Aaron.

First introduced at the Brooklyn Museum, Marla Aaron Jewelry’s vending machine was installed last week at the MZ Wallace store in New York’s Soho; it will be in residence there till February 22.
