Aardman’s newest furniture hijinks

Claymation characters come to their senses as krow (a part of MISSION Group) develops their third campaign featuring Wallace & Gromit for DFS.

As Wallace proudly reveals his extendable sofa, big enough to fit him, his dog, and their sheep, the lounge piece takes on a life of its own, malfunctioning almost immediately. In classic fashion, it’s up to Gromit to save the day from a Sofa Calamity as he orders a replacement from the DFS lads down the street. 

Will Becher, director at Aardman says: “After the snowy Christmas streets on our last campaign, this new spot with Wallace and Gromit finds them back in their iconic living room. It’s been a great challenge to bring all the action and adventure of the malfunctioning extendable sofa into this tiny space.”
