In Martin Werner’s suspenseful spot for financial services provider Achmea, a gang of hooded characters carrying tools charge towards an abandoned building - but this isn’t your typical break-in.
Naturally assuming that they are squatters, onlookers call the police who assemble en masse. Upon breaking into the house, the police are shocked to find a bunch of befuddled pensioners, who were simply looking for a place to call home.
The film, produced through CZAR Amsterdam, is underscored with a climactic classical track, and aims to draw attention to the shortage of suitable housing for the elderly.
