ADFEST Shifts into Gear for 2013, Sets 'Connect the Dots' Theme

ADFEST has announced the ADFEST 2013 theme, "Connect the Dots," which will provide ideas, knowledge and tools to help delegates build foundations, conversations and connections for brands across the networked world of creative communications.

The three-day festival will be held from Sun, 17 March to Tuesday, 19 March at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group, Pattaya, Thailand.

"Next year's theme reflects how so many aspects must be tackled in today's communication strategies," says Vinit Suraphongchai, Chairman of the ADFEST Working Committee. "Creatives and marketers must connect with increasingly savvy consumers in a meaningful way through a relevant medium and must always remember they're communicating to real people.  The challenge is connecting all these dots creatively, objectively, and effectively."

Jimmy Lam, President of ADFEST adds, "Linear marketing strategies are no longer viable for marketers. People are devouring and using more and more media in different ways as our technology-hungry world evolves. The continuous innovations and new products we see on the market year after year are exciting but also require clever thinking, re-invention and networked creative solutions in order to keep brands in never-ending conversations with consumers and ensure that they always connect, collaborate and communicate in a relevant way."

"We are very pleased that this year, Stanley Wong and his team from 84000 Communications has created the ADFEST 2013 icon, which is a wonderfully colorful, graphic and flexible design that finds the perfect pitch for our theme," Lam continues.
