The thing about being a good sport is that you don’t necessarily have to be good at sport. And many of the plucky players in this rousing film aren’t exactly at the top of their game.
Created by TBWA and directed by Mark Albiston through Sweetshop, Good Sport features folks of all ages and abilities getting outstandingly muddy, getting bashed about and getting nearly drowned, but, most importantly, getting stuck in and giving it their all for the team.
Albiston commented: "I reckon sport runs in our veins here in New Zealand and the way we play it says a lot about who we are – I love the humour and the values embedded in this script. Game on.”
The spot ends with the tagline ‘ANZ supports a lot of sports, but most of all, good sports.’
