Few people can claim to be as 'well-acquainted' with drugs as legendary writer Hunter S Thompson.
Using his (frankly terrifying) daily routine as the basis for his latest track, 6AM (Ready To Write), UK beatbox hero Beardyman has employed the talents of Academy director Ian Pons Jewell to bring to life a promo that matches the excesses of the diarist at its core.
Following an over-excited guy as he imbibes more than his fair share of powder, the promo takes a deliciously surreal turn when his schnoz takes on a life of its own and hunts out anything it can inhale.
Anarchic and genuinely funny, with smart effects from Electric Theatre Collective bringing to life the horrifying notion, the promo, and its brilliant punchline, is not to be sniffed at.
