Berwyn releases Rubber Bands

The latest track from the Trinidad born, London based artist is an emotional tale of intense love. 

Berwyn takes us through a journey reflecting on times in love and all the heartwarming memories that were created. However, as situations unfold and reality starts to sink in it becomes more apparent that the love isn’t quite as strong as they hoped and have to go their separate ways dealing with regret and loss.

COMPULSORY Director Taz Tron Delix, manifests these themes by creating a world where only Berwyn and his partner exist and their passionate relationship shapes the surroundings. We see Taz’s signature warming colour palettes and swirling camera movements are used to portray the rollercoaster of emotions, visually reflecting the mind state of Berwyn and his partner going through first love heartbreak and pain. Images of floating mid air and reversed scenes not only adds an element of surrealism, but also drives home that feeling of what it’s like to be in love only being brought back down to reality when that same feeling starts to crumble.
